Yahoo Mail is one of the oldest web email clients around. While it has gone through some ups and downs over the years, many people still rely on it for their emails. It features a simple ability to add a signature to your account without too much fuss.
By default the editor is pretty basic for what many people want out of their signature. If you want to make something more advanced, we would recommend using a tool like our email signature generator. This tool allows you to choose from a set of starting templates and customize them by changing fonts, colors, images and adding additional fields. It creates the HTML code for you so you don't even have to worry about it!
Here is a step by step process of how to add your email signature to Yahoo Mail. This guide assumes you have already copied your email signature to your clipboard using an editor like Signature.email, from an email, or from another source.
-
Open the Yahoo Mail website. Click on the Settings gear near the top right.
-
This will launch the Quick Settings menu, click the More Settings button near the bottom.
-
In the left hand menu, click the Writing email option in the menu.
-
Under signature, to the right of your email address, toggle the switch next your email address to the right. The switch will turn blue.
-
An editor box will be revealed. Paste your signature.
On Windows you can press Ctrl + V. On a Mac you can press Command + V. You can also often right click and find the Paste option in the menu.
-
Your signature is saved automatically.
-
When composing a new email message, your new signature will now appear.
